Because I’m a glutten for punishment, I had the need of creating an oracledb ‘Thick’ lambda layer. Lambda layers can be quite annoying. Deiby Gómez wrote a great guide here https://redpillanalytics.com/connect-oracle-database-aws-lambda-thick-mode/

He used an ubuntu machine to build the layer, I have always built the layers using the matching amazon linux. I need to try just using ubuntu cause I think that would be much easier!
