I changed F438 to min length=8 in the X12.Segment MapForceEDI\X12 folder

The Adage TransformTool.jar was having a problem with my input xml

Then I figured out that it was trying to use the dtd that was embedded in the file. So in Mapforce I right clicked on my XML, went properties and unchecked the box that said Add schema/DTD reference. Easy!
