In case anyone is wondering what we ate for breakfast :)

A ham and cheese omelet and a pear filled George foreman thingy 🙂 I have found for omelets that I like to do them over super low heat and I add the cheddar right at the beginning so it sinks to the bottom and becomes some of the outside crust. Also, adding cream cheese to omelets makes them really good. The recipe for the pear filled George foreman thingy goes like this: butter your bread, put one slice on George foreman, add your filling (any pie filling works great) in my case I mashed up some pears, add top slice of buttered bread, grill. Then add powdered sugar. The result…. yum 🙂

Raspberry Apricot Chicken

Since T-asha likes pictures here you go.

Raspberry Apricot Chicken

About a table spoon of butter on each piece of chicken, salt and pepper, two spoonfuls of apricot preserves and a healthy poring of raspberries. Put in oven and cook until done 🙂 450-475 around 20-25 mins.

Yummy, tastes sweet and tangy.

Mango Thin Steak

Made some thin steaks last night. Marinated them for just a bit in some steak sauce mixed with some mango puree. After cooking, drizzled the remainder of the mango puree on top along with topping with sauteed onions. Yum. Made for a sweet tango steak.

Roasted red, brown sugar, chocolate glazed, cashew potatoes

This is a recipe my brother and I invented last night. So wash and halve your red potatoes and place on a baking sheet (I like to put down foil to contain the juices). Dice an onion and lay over and around potatoes. Dice a carrot and lay over and around potatoes. Combine half a stick of butter, a couple spoon fulls of thyme, couple spoonfulls of brown sugar and melt together. Drizzle over potatoes. Melt small amount of chocolate and drizzle sparingly over potatoes. Place a cashew on top of each potato and bake for 30 minutes at 450 or until potatoes are tender.

How to Cook FriChik

I tried to find a web page that told me how to cook up some FriChik. I couldn’t find one. But here are some things that I have tried so far. I heated up some olive oil and then fried up the FriChik. He he simple huh, but it tasted pretty good. Anything tastes good fried right! Next I tried breading some and then baking it for 30 mins at 475. The outside got nice and crispy and the inside was still surprisingly moist. This tasted pretty good too, but I preferred the Fried ones.
