So I have been working on finalizing my entry for the the ‘How do you kronos’ video contest.
Here is my revised entry, http://videocontest.kronos.com/kickapps/_Kronsters-Inc/video/258026/34016.html
After carefully reading the rules a few things stuck out.
The first is this line in the rules:
Sponsor reserves the right to not award any prize if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries. Judges’ and Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters.
This is kind of lame, but understandable. If they don’t get enough entries they don’t want to shell out the money.
The second is
Limit one (1) video Entry per person/user during the Contest Entry Period. Multiple Entries received from any one person or user after the first video Entry is received from such person or user will be void.
This is interesting because the website allows you to upload multiple videos, so I guess you just have to make sure that you only have one video that you have entered into the contest?
And third
Do not (i) upload videos you find on the Internet, (ii) use copyrighted music in your Entry or (iii) use trademarks or logos belonging to any third parties in your Entry.
This makes sense, but since I was doing a parody of a pixar movie it was hard to know where to draw the line. So I went back and cut my video a ton to remove any possibility of infringing.
